The Hydronix SWC-25-20100 20″ String Wound Filter – 100 Micron-20-Pack is an economical replacement for the Liquatec SWF-25-20100 Sediment Filter. Also known as part number SWC-25-20100 and PP Filter, this string filter is constructed with 100% polypropylene fiber cord media. The Hydronix water filter reduces particles as small as 100 microns and can be used with municipal or well water. Different wound patterns based on different micron ratings will ensure that you get the correct filter for your specific applications. This Hydronix string wound cartridge fits most standard 20″ standard filter housings requiring a 20″ filter media and is ideal for residential and commercial applications. Water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality should not be used without proper disinfection. The operating temperature capacity of this Hydronix string filter ranges from 40 degrees to 165 degrees Fahrenheit (4.4 degrees to 73.9 degrees Celsius). The life expectancy of this 100 micron filter depends on water quality and usage. Replace your filter when a decrease in pressure is detected.
