The PUR® PLUS PFM400H Replacement for the PUR® FM-9400B Faucet Mount Filter features a horizontal chrome design and three stages of filtration. Included in the PUR® PFM400H is a 3-stage PUR® faucet filter (RF-9999) that effectively reduces lead, mercury, sediment, dirt, chlorine taste and odor, as well as various other harmful impurities and contaminants. The installation of the PUR® faucet mount system is quick and easy; it requires no tools, thanks to its horizontal swivel design. With the bypass feature, this filtration system allows you to effortlessly switch between filtered and unfiltered water for drinking and cooking. Additionally, the built-in filter life indicator serves as a reminder to replace the filter when the time comes. The replacement filter for the PUR® PFM400H faucet filter system is the 3-Stage RF-9999. Note, it is also compatible with the 2-Stage PUR® RF-3375 filter. The PUR® RF-9999 faucet water filter offers more advanced filtration which effectively reduces a wider range of impurities and contaminants. Both the PUR® RF-9999 and PUR® RF-3375 filters are designed to last for approximately 2-3 months or 100 gallons before replacement.
