This is a Carbon Range Hood Filter Replacement (RHP0807) made by American Metal Filter Company which is a compatible replacement filter for the GE WB2X8406 Carbon Range Hood Filter plus other compatible oven range hoods and microwaves which use a filter of this size (see list below). This filter uses a combination of carbon and aluminum for extra-thorough air filtration.

American Metal filters are fully compatible with the name brand (OEM) model and can be used in a variety of non-ducted oven range hoods, microwave ovens, and other compatible applications which require odor reduction and thorough air filtration. This carbon range filter reduces common cooking odors plus grease, smoke, as well as dust and recirculates filtered air back in to the kitchen. It can also be used in compatible microwave ovens (check dimensions below) which utilize a carbon filter for the reduction of kitchen odors, grease, smoke, and other fine particulates. This filter also uses a layer of aluminum to further trap particles.
